Holiday Entertaining and Decor

The most wonderful time of the year has arrived! The lists, the food, the shopping, the decorating, the meal planning, the family, the fun and the events.  I’m amazed that at the end of the season, I’m still ready to take on what the new year brings. I’m full of lists:  grocery lists, shopping lists, gift lists, wish lists, I’m up to my ears in LISTS!

Holiday Entertaining and Decor

I’ve spent countless hours planning, organizing and determining which events we’ll attend, where I will shop, who we will visit, what I need to buy, who I need to buy for, what we will eat and how I will turn my frumpy home into a magical little paradise of wintery fun for my family to enjoy and celebrate the season.  I’ve scoured the internet, Pinterest and even asked a handful of friends to share with me how they get ready for their Holiday Entertaining and Decor. They’ve shared some really great ideas and helpful tips!

Do’s:

  • Do Make a list.
  • Do Plan ahead.
  • Do Create a budget.
  • Do It Yourself.
  • Do Research.
  • Do Keep it simple.
  • Do Know your limits.

Don’ts:

  • Don’t overspend.
  • Don’t rush.
  • Don’t impulse buy.
  • Don’t over do it.
  • Don’t kill yourself.

Help me, I need help! Let’s face it, I’m writing this post to help you, but honestly, I need a lot of help myself. Sure, I am a stay at home mom who blogs, crafts, shuttles kids around, plays the role of the wife and does a million other jobs every single day. I so want to be the creative genius when handling Holiday Entertaining and Decor, but I need help and if you’re anything like me, you could use a little too!
