Supplies needed:
Assorted Valentine’s Day themed scrapbook paper (we were able to buy this for around .50 cents a sheet at our local craft store)
Valentine’s themed ribbon, or plain red or pink
Craft glue
Scissors (we used scalloped scissors but if you only have straight edged that is fine too)

Directions:

1. Begin by cutting out 7-10 triangles from your scrapbook paper. Choose 2-3 patterns and start snipping. You can begin by cutting out one triangle and using it as your stencil for the remainder. This way, your triangles will be even.

2. Using another piece of scrapbook paper (choose a pattern you have not used yet) create another set of triangles but this time make them ½ the size of your original. You can do as you did in step 1, create one triangle and use it as a stencil.

3. Using craft glue, begin attaching the large triangles to your ribbon. To do this, lay the ribbon flat on a table or floor and begin gluing on the pieces one at a time. Space each piece 1-2 inches apart.

4. Once your first set of triangles is attached, glue on a second layer of smaller triangles. Simply apply some glue to the back and press the smaller triangle to the larger.

5. As soon as your triangles are dry, you are ready to display your bunting banner!

Simply tie or use tape to hang your bunting banner where you please. A bunting banner such as this would look darling wherever you decide, and is sure to invite some Valentine’s Day charm into your home. Give it a try, and see how quickly it gets you into the Valentine’s Day spirit!
