We’re now in week two of the NFL football season. Last week all the fans got their gear together, smack talk on, and ready to root on their team for better or worse.

Our family are huge fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers, we’re now on our third generation. Yes, we cheer, root, scream, and pray for our team during their games.

Serious football fans have traditions that need to be followed so their team will win. Some of ours are:

  • Jerseys are hung and ready to be put on
  • Terrible Towels are taken out and ready to be whipped in the air
  • Steve the Steeler Snowman is put in his chair in front of the TV
  • Menus are planned
  • Each person sits in their regular seat
  • Fantasy teams are checked on

Many others have traditions such as; helmets are taken out and placed in certain spots, figurines are placed in the precise spots

A true football fan respects players (from other teams) and the game itself. Now don’t get me wrong, I may respect a player from another team but it doesn’t mean I root for that player if they’re playing the Steelers.

I live smack in the middle of Giants, Jets, and Patriots territory. I grew up in a “Giants” house, we wore blue and white proud. It was a big deal when I crossed over to the Steelers. Having said that, the Giants still have a special place in my heart. If they play the Steelers of course I want them to lose. When they were in the Superbowl, I proudly rooted for them.

Two weeks ago I was lucky enough to attend the Live with Kelly & Michael show. It was the day Kelly  announced that Michael Strahan would be her co-host and sit to her left Monday through Friday. I was very excited to be there.   I watch Kelly and think she’s great but I was barely keeping still in my seat when Michael was announced and walked out. I wanted to jump over the rail and tackle him. He was one of my favorite players and I needed a picture with this man.

**Notice you can not see the railing between us because I was practically over it. He was very gracious about having some crazy lady grabbing him.

Let’s get to what happened in NFL week 2:

After the Steelers losing last week, it was great to see them play like the Steelers. Let me just add WOO HOO!

I’ve been browsing online more than 4 hours today, yet I never found any interesting
article like yours. It is pretty worth enough
for me. Personally, if all website owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the web will be much more useful than ever before.
