Spoiler Alert: Which Son died tonight? Don’t read on if you don’t want to know…

This episode of Sons of Anarchy starts off behind bars and Jax is taken into the Commander’s Office to “chat” with Pope (Harold Perrineau). His offer to Jax is that Pope gets 50% of the money the Sons are making off running coke, Tig (Kim Coates) stays behind bars for life, and a Son dead.  The moment I knew we were going to loose a Son this episode, I thought of Opie. Even though I knew it in my gut, it was a hard thing to watch. We know why he did it but, Opie, you will be missed.

This feud between Gemma (Katey Sagal) and Tara (Maggie Siff)  over the children is bringing out the side of Tara I have been missing. Seeing her with spunk in her actions is a nice change of pace. I’m a little shocked that Gemma went to Wendy, Jax’s ex, asking her to take Able from Tara and threaten her with abusing medications. Tara figured it out and that brought out the strong side even more!

Enter Ashley Tisdale. I had a feeling she was going to show up at Nero’s (Jimmy Smits) place but getting her a$$ kicked by Gemma for being with Clay was not what I was thinking. The brothel gets raided while Gemma is there and she is walked out in cuffs.

This episode leaves us with Jax meeting with Pope and letting him know the plan was done. He then tells  Tig and Chibs that they are getting out, which hopefully we will see next episode.

Is losing Opie bringing out a whole new side in Jax?

I was so sick when that happened to Opie. Yes I get why he did it, but why kill off Jax’s best friend. I hate when writers do this.

🙁 I didn’t get to watch it last night… but we loved Opie. I am sorry to see the writers kill off such a strong addition to the show.

I hope you got to DVR it, if not I think they play the week before after the new one. Even if you know what happens, it’s worth the watch to see the look in Jax’s eyes.
