I have been searching for the best strawberry recipes to serve at our Memorial Day cookout this year. One of the first fruits of spring in Vermont are strawberries. Somehow, those bright red berries just lend themselves perfectly to the red, white, and blue theme of Memorial Day. Whether your Memorial Day includes a cookout, a picnic in the park, or a parade down Main Street, try a few of these strawberry recipes to help celebrate.

When I first think of the best strawberry recipes, I think of desserts like strawberry rhubarb pie and strawberries dipped in chocolate. There really are a number of other ways you can enjoy fresh strawberries besides desserts. Consider strawberries on top of Belgian Waffles for breakfast or strawberries topping a fresh garden salad for lunch. If you have quite a few strawberries, consider putting up a few jars of fresh strawberry jam.
Here are just a few of the best strawberry recipes I’ve found to share with you all:

Desserts
Lunch
Sauces, Creams and Spreads
No matter what you’re doing for Memorial Day this year, you will definitely want to try one or more of the best strawberry recipes I’ve shared today.

I’m so HAPPY to see this post! I just bought 8 lbs of strawberries at a great price yesterday and now I know what to do with them! Woohoo!
Thanks!
