When your stationary looks good, you are more motivated to use it and get things done. This is something we have all known to be true since we were in elementary school and more dedicated to organizing our work when we could put it in Lisa Frank folders. So if you are struggling with keeping to a schedule, it just might be that you need to revamp your planner.

Many planners already come with quotes, and they can be less than inspiring. If your planner lacks quotes or you don’t care for the ones it has, try adding them yourself. There are lots of packs, both free and paid, that you can download and print yourself. All you need to do is paste them in.
This one is a callback to your school days. Go looking for some stickers that appeal to you and start adding them to your planner, both inside and out. While you might find some nice options at your typical box store, we recommend heading to a store that specializing in crafting or stationary.
If your planner is spiral bound, it is easy to add pins to it. You can purchase these in stores or create your own, which is our preference. You can add just one or go crazy; whatever works for you. It is fun to give your planner a little jewelry.
Do you always struggle to get to the page you need? Create some fun bookmarks. There are plenty of tutorials for this online, and our favorites are the ones that use paperclips since they are the easiest to use. And, if you aren’t feeling crafty right now, you can always purchase them instead.
The washi tape craze has died down a bit, but that doesn’t mean you need to let it pass you by. Washi tape is a great way to completely change the look of your planner cover, or even create a fun design inside. Go crazy and have fun with this one.
Then color it in! While this will take more effort than the other ideas, you will get a planner completely customized to your needs, and coloring it will help you relax. This seems like a win-win to us, don’t you think?
