Son’s of Anarchy Season 5 is getting well underway and “Ocra Shrugged” brought blood, guns, and blackmailing to give one comical a$$ biter of an episode!
“Everyday is a new box…will it be a gift or a coffin?”
The Son’s approach the mayor about purchasing property for their escort service. Looked like the answer was going to be a no but the Son’s prepare to make him a deal to ensure Charming Heights becomes a reality, in exchange for the property. With the help of “Venus Van Dam” (Walton Googins) the club stages photos to blackmail a Charming Councilman into changing his vote. From here on out I may have to refer to Tig as Tiger thanks to Venus. Something about Tiger taking a bite to the a$$ was pretty hilarious. Pretty sure I haven’t laughed that hard during a SOA Episode. Ever.
“Steady Cash Without the Risk”
Running a legit escort service will get the Son’s cash in ways outside of cocaine. The whole club is in so they will be in business with Nero soon. Gemma’s pretty pissed off that Nero is getting in bed with the club now instead of her but a later conversation with Tara has her saying that they all have a lot of healing to do. Maybe Gemma is actually going to face what she has been running from. Clay.
A meeting and hardware trade between the Mexican Cartel, Irish Cartel, and the Son’s begins with a fist fight between Jax and Galen. There were some great hits thrown and blood shed by both. We don’t see it end but once it’s over, Galen took it out on the bikes by showing off the power of one of the guns in the trade.
This episode ends with another home invasion and the Sheriff’s wife gets shot. Pretty sure things are about to get ugly now. Oh yeah, and a boob and finger in the cooler.
How do you think the Sheriff will handle the home invasion at his own home?
This episode was very funny! It was much needed comic relief after Opie’s death.
