Sons of Anarchy Season 5: Small World

Sons of Anarchy Season 5: Episode 6 once again packed a powerful punch. This episode, “Small World” was nothing like last the hilariously weird episode week. More blood shed and more deaths are what we got tonight.

“The Table’s Dividing”

Eli’s wife is the first to die. He loses it and blames SAMCRO but Jax says it’s not them. Clay’s reaction, when Uncer tells him about the Sheriff’s wife passing, was pointing at something was up. The club vote that followed made it even clearer that the division in votes was dividing the club. In the end,we know Clay is running the home invasion operation and this isn’t going to end well with the club.

“It’s a Small World”

Pope gives Jax a goodwill offering, the address of one of the prison guards involved with Opie’s death. As much as I didn’t want to see what happened to Opie, this scene with a snow globe was pretty gruesome and added two more deaths to the tally.

“Sweet Brother”

Carla, Nero’s half sister that apparently was in love with him, shows up at Gemma’s house with a gun. What seemed to be a sick and twisted form of payback, ended with Carla pulling the trigger on herself for a fourth death this episode. Is it just me or was none of that necessary to the story line?

Tara visits Otto because the club needs him to reverse his testimony. When she tells him the club will do anything, he tells her to get on her knees. She refuses and he refuses anymore visits or something horrible will happen. Tara tells Jax that she couldn’t get in to visit Otto. I don’t blame her, the club would probably make her do what Otto wants.

This episode left me wondering what will happen with Joel McHale’s character, what Eli’s next move will be, and how Jax will handle it when he finds out Clay is behind the home invasion.

What do you think about Clay’s involvement in the home invasions?

Comments

  1. I’ve been saying it since last season: Clay is not going to quietly sit by while Jax takes over. Clay sees Jax as a weak link and he thinks that the best way to do things is his way. The idea that Clay might be faking to be more ill than he really is doesn’t surprise me in the least. I’ve got my Hopper timers set each week so I can watch the show after I get home from work. The scene between Gemma and Unser was intense but needed to happen. Everything he said was the truth and it hurt Gemma in a way that really made her realize that she has pushed everyone away. My DISH co-worker pointed out that Unser also knew that the Sons were responsible for the home invasions but that he hadn’t quite worked out who was behind it just yet. Clay is trying to settle this beef and he inadvertently ends up being responsible for his cronies killing Roosevelt’s wife Rita.

  2. This website was… how do you say it? Relevant!!
Finally I’ve found something which helped me. Many thanks!
